How to Enter and Rules
Stories, whether historic, traditional or imagined bring cultural venues and their communities to life.
To take part in StoryQuest 2007:

- Check the competition rules (see below)
- Find a storyteller
- Plan your event
- Register your event with us using our registration form. This allows us to check that it is suitable and gives us the information we need to advertise your event.
- Once we have approved your event, we will send you a CD of materials to
help you run your event, including posters and ideas for follow up activities. - Publicise and run your event. Have a great time, and don’t forget to take some pictures
- Complete the feedback form to tell us how your event went and send it to us along with some pictures. This is your entry to the competition so don’t forget to send it in!
- Wait and see if you’ve won?..!
COMPETITION RULES

- The event must involve oral storytelling.
- The event needs to take place in relation to a cultural venue that is a museum, art gallery, theatre or other art venue, historic house or garden, historic building, environmental or heritage site, etc. If you’re not sure whether you qualify, then please contact us.
- The event needs to take place between 2nd November 2007 and 30th November 2007.
- The event needs to be designed for an audience that includes children. Please feel free to combine audiences across generations and to specialise for a specific age group. Remember that stories often work on many levels.
- Your event must have been registered with and approved by StoryQuest. E-mail a completed registration form, to storyquest@artsandkids.org.uk. Once we have approved your event, we will send you a CD of materials to help
you run your event, including posters and ideas for follow up activities.
- You must e-mail a feedback form after your event, telling us how it went and including between 2 and 10 pictures, to storyquest@artsandkids.org.uk.
- Arts & Kids reserves the right to not award a prize.
