This Site is operated by Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation and materials on the Site are owned, for the most part, by Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation. The Site may also include materials owned by third parties and posted on the Site by virtue of a license, grant or some other form of agreement between the third party and Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation.

Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation reserves the right to immediately terminate your use of, or access to, this Site at any time if Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation decides at their sole discretion that you have breached this Agreement or any relevant law, rule or regulation or you have engaged in conduct that Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation consider to be inappropriate or unacceptable.

This Agreement operates to the fullest extent permissible by law. If any provision of this Agreement is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision is deemed severable from this Agreement and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

This Agreement is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for resolution of any dispute, action or proceeding arising in connection with this Agreement or your use or non-use of the Site.

Booking Terms

All school groups attending StoryQuest events are required to provide adequate transport insurance and any other insurance necessary for a school trip as part of the conditions of booking.

Details are correct at the time of going to press. We reserve the right to change programmes and artists if circumstances dictate.

Booking orders will be processed in order of receipt

NOTE: The management reserve the right to refuse admission.

In the event of a cancellation due to circumstances beyond the Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation’s control the said organisations will not be liable for any costs incurred by booking.

Booking reference details will be confirmed a minimum of 7days prior to the events and are issued subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Venue.

Audio recorders, cameras and mobile phones may not be used in the venues.

Any person attending a StoryQuest event consents to the recording and filming of themselves as members of the audience in such instances whereby recording and filming occurs.

It is prohibited to make commercial use of any bookings placed for StoryQuest 2004 from Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation. Any ticket that is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation, it may be voided and the holder may be refused entry, or ejected from the venue.

Responsibility for minors

Hay Festival of Literature & The Arts Ltd and The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation cannot be responsible for children who are unattended. All children remain in the care of the school placing the booking.
