StoryQuest Tales - The Competition
StoryQuest Tales Winner Announced!
We are very pleased to announce that Josh Rodell is the winner
of the StoryQuest Tales Competition. ’The Giant Book
Glue Quest’, based on many of the StoryQuest characters,
is an imaginative tale about a group of friends who have come
’unstuck’ from their book and are searching for
a glue factory.

Thank You
We would also like to thank all our judges and volunteers
that are reading and short listing stories. Special thanks
goes to The Federation of Children’s Book Groups, Four
Communications plc, Blackpool & The Fylde College, Arts
& Business staff and those teachers, parents, friends
and librarians who supported the competition.
Competition Details
Who entered? Children between the ages of 10 and 14.
What were the stories about? Every story was written about
one or more of the StoryQuest Tales characters that were created
by Quentin Blake.
The Prizes
An extract from the winning story will be read out by Michael
Morpurgo on Radio 4’s Today programme and the winner
will receive a signed copy of the Quentin Blake illustration
of the chosen character.
